Privacy Policy

• Account information — name, email, phone number, role, organization, and preferred language, provided when your account is created.
• Field reports — the work-area status, progress, checklist items, blockers, reason codes, and notes you submit.
• Location data — when you submit a field report, the app may record your device GPS coordinates to verify which work area the report came from. Location is captured only at the moment you submit a report, never continuously in the background.
• Photos — jobsite photos you choose to attach to a report, stored as part of the project record.
• Device & usage data — device type, app version, and basic diagnostics used to operate and improve the service.

We use this information to provide and operate the service: to show each trade which areas are ready, sync field reports across devices, generate project records and documents, send notifications and transactional emails, process billing, and provide support. We do not use your project data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

• Within your project — ReadyBoard is, by design, a shared record. Information is visible to the parties on your project (your organization, the general contractor, and assigned trades) according to each party role and the platform access rules.
• Service providers — we use trusted subprocessors to run the service: Supabase (database & authentication), PowerSync (offline data sync), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (web hosting), and Apple (iOS distribution & push notifications). They process data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
• No sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

The mobile app requests the following permissions, used only for the stated purpose:

• Camera — to photograph work areas for the project record.
• Location (while using the app) — to verify the work area a report is submitted from.
• Photo library — to save or attach site photos.

You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

We retain project records for as long as your account or project is active, and as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations. Construction records may be kept for the duration of a project and a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion as described below.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is enforced by row-level security so each organization sees only its own data, and formal documents are SHA-256 hashed so they cannot be altered after they are issued. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of non-essential emails. To make a request, contact us at privacy@readyboard.ai. Because ReadyBoard is often provided through your employer or contractor, some requests may be directed to that organization as the controller of the project data.

ReadyBoard is a workplace tool intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

ReadyBoard is operated in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
