Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReadyBoard, a shared construction-record and field-coordination platform for commercial construction. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using ReadyBoard on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.
1. The service
ReadyBoard helps a general contractor and the trades on a project see what areas are ready, report field progress, coordinate work, and keep a shared record of delays and related documents. Features vary by subscription plan.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Your data and ownership
As between you and ReadyBoard, you and your organization own the project data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.
4. Records are not legal advice
ReadyBoard helps you create, store, and share construction records and documents, including notices such as a Notice of Delay (NOD), a Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA), and an Owner Delay Notice. ReadyBoard is a software tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. These documents and templates are provided for convenience and do not constitute legal advice or an attorney-client relationship. Construction contracts, notice requirements, and deadlines vary — consult a qualified attorney before relying on any document. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the documents you generate.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or misleading records;
- access data you are not authorized to access, or attempt to defeat the access controls;
- interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service; or
- resell or provide the service to third parties except as permitted by your plan.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed per project through our payment processor (Stripe). Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. The general contractor funds the project; assigned trades may be included at no additional charge on that project.
7. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, PowerSync, Stripe, Resend, Vercel, and Apple). Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
ReadyBoard and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service as permitted.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Offline sync is provided on a best-effort basis and depends on device and network conditions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadyBoard will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ReadyBoard harmless from claims arising out of your data, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
